ABOUT IBM

With years of experience in the design and manufacture of weather-proof louvres, Integrate Building Material Private Limited (“IBM” – first established in Hong Kong) developed IBM Performance Louvres to meet the architectural trends and performance requirements in the Asia-Pacific region.

Having gained a foothold in the Greater China region with a good reputation for delivering quality and affordable louvres, IBM was set up in Singapore to cater to markets in Southeast Asia.

IBM Performance Louvres are ideal for a variety of applications in industrial and commercial buildings, educational institutions, private residential, public housing and amenities.

OUR PRODUCTS

Weather-proof louvres are installed on buildings to serve a variety of purposes which include aesthetic screening, ventilation, rain defence and noise reduction. They are typically manufactured using mill finish aluminium alloy extrusions, and color-coated to requirements. IBM Performance Louvres are broadly categorised into: -

A) Ventilation Louvres Primary purpose is to allow air to flow into or out of a building, or ventilation system while providing screening; Complement the energy usage efficiency, resulting in cost-savings.

B) Rain Defence Louvres These are installed to keep rain out of a building while enabling air to flow in or out; however, the better a louvre at keeping rain out, the worse it is at letting air in.

Test & Certification

Performance and acoustic tests, where applicable, are conducted to assess and validate the performance of louvres, and the ratings are used as a basis for comparison among louvres of different models and designs.
